Corvette’s 70th Anniversary Edition Honors Milestone

DETROIT: In 2023, Corvette, the brand that has been on cars for the longest, will celebrate its 70th anniversary. While continuing to be an approachable cultural symbol, the Corvette has pushed the limits of performance, technology, and elegance for eight generations.

Corvette Stingray and Z06 models from the 2023 model year will commemorate this achievement with a unique 70th Anniversary Edition package.

Steve Majoros, vice president of Chevrolet marketing, stated, “Passion for Corvette runs deep at Chevrolet and this anniversary is extra special because of the excitement and sales success we’ve achieved with the eighth generation of America’s iconic sportscar.” “Children still dream of the open road and hearts race for Corvettes, even after 70 years.”

70th Anniversary Issue One of the two exclusive exterior colors for this package, Carbon Flash Metallic or the brand-new White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat, will make Corvettes stand out. Satin Gray with the White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat and Satin Black with the Carbon Flash Metallic are the complementary hues of optional stripes.

The unique wheels with commemorative wheel center caps are a characteristic of the Corvettes celebrating their 70th anniversary. Although the Z06 and Stingray have different wheel designs, they both feature the same black finish and Edge Red stripe.

Drivers will discover red seatbelts, two-tone Ceramic leather GT2 or Competition Sport seats, sueded microfiber seat inserts, and a steering wheel within the cockpit.

Extra material consists of:

Exterior badging for the 70th Anniversary Edition, including unique Corvette crossflags

Red brake calipers with an edge

the 70th Anniversary Edition emblem on the steering wheel, sill plates, and seats

Protective rear bumper and trunk cover

Personalized baggage set with the 70th Anniversary Edition logo and red stitching

Additionally, Edge Red engine covers will be available for 70th Anniversary Edition Stingray coupes.

Production of the 2023 Corvette Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ coupe and convertible vehicles will begin later this year, at which point the 70th Anniversary Edition option will be offered. The 70th Anniversary Edition package is now included in the 2023 Corvette Z06 visualizer that is available on Chevrolet.com.

A commemorative inside plaque marking the 70th anniversary will be placed on the center speaker grille of every 2023 Corvette, including those without the 70th Anniversary Edition package. A graphic will also be etched on the lower rear window.

In 2023, Corvette will provide customers even more opportunities to customize and personalize their vehicles. There will be eight inside color options and 14 exterior color options, meaning thousands of possible combinations.

The stakes are higher for military families thanks to America’s Supercar.

A 70th Anniversary Edition of the Corvette Z06 will be the first to be sold at retail. On Saturday, January 29, 2022, VIN 001 of this highly anticipated special edition Corvette Z06 will go up for auction at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. All proceeds will go to Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating military families that can flourish in the communities they have fought so hard to defend, rather than just barely scrape by.

Chevrolet has been a proud sponsor of Operation Homefront since 2017. In addition to donating money for services, Chevrolet sent seven full-size Silverado pickups to the organization’s headquarters and six regional offices.

For this unique event, legendary former Corvette Racing driver Oliver Gavin will drive the 2023 Corvette Z06 stand-in car through the auction.
